But looks can be deceiving because canting was the opposite of easy. When it was our turn, we found it very hard to control the amount of wax poured.
Anyway after discussing with our lecturer, we decided to do this:
Persian peacocks with an Asian twist.
We started by drawing the outline on the cloth with a normal 2B and then we tried our best to canting over it as accurately as possible. After that, it was time to paint. We decided to go for bright and vibrant colors because peacocks are lively creatures and a black background to enhance the colours.
We managed to finish it with 5 minutes to spare and I have to say that it came out way better than expected. We are very happy with it.
Now the staff is going to wash the wax off and send it over to Taylor's when it's done.
